I am thankful for the hatred Fred Phelps provided our world. He brought to light injustices and similarities that were otherwise inconsequential or common place. His hatred fueled movements and ran press that brought communities to arms. He was a hostile man that will forever be important in the LGBT movement. He will not be celebrated or mourned; he will simply be gone.
